My wife Carolyn and I wholeheartedly recommend Georges Mavlian of Le Paintre for your household painting work. Please read on so I can describe why we hold George in such high regard.
We wanted to paint several rooms and a hallway in our home. We spoke to multiple contractors about the job. Georges was the only one who looked past the job and at the potential and character of each room. Georges noticed details with respect to the walls and the ceilings that would affect how different colors, types of paint and styles of painting would look in each room. He took the time to explain to us what might work best for what we had in mind. It quickly became clear to us that Georges offered far more than any other contractor with whom we had worked or whom we had interviewed for this job.
We decided on a faux finish for our hallway. Before doing anything, Georges first ensured that every square inch of that hallway was completely prepared for new paint. Next Georges painted a large swatch for us to hang and test the colors. Once we had it the way we thought we’d like it, Georges painted a section of the wall for us to examine before completing the hallway. It is always top of mind for him to make sure that his customers are completely satisfied. And when he finished, we were.
For Georges, the finished product is not just a painted wall – it is art. When we decided after the project started that we wanted to renovate a powder room, Georges met us at a local home center and spent a good part of that afternoon with us looking at ideas for the room – cabinet, sink, lighting. With his input, we were able to assemble the pieces of a powder room with which we are very happy. And then he returned with us to pick up the order and deliver it to our home. Clearly, Georges delivers service in addition to an artistic enthusiasm for doing the job correctly.
There is one last thing that became quite apparent that differentiates Georges from the competition. When George says he is going to show up at a particular time on a specific day, he does. How many contractors can you say that about?!
I do not often write referrals and certainly only when I believe in the service or product. After working with Le Paintre, I believe.

It was wonderful working with you and the tile store decorator in designing the new bathroom. You helped me to pick out the perfect products and develop a beautiful design.
Also, the new marble floor in the foyer is spectacular. It is an intricate design, but you and your crew installed it perfectly.
In the kitchen, the new backsplash looks great. The travertine adds such warmth and interest. I couldn’t be happier with it.
